Sheet Creation
Select the default standard to be applied when creating a sheet.
Crossing Line in Diagram View
Select an option to define the display of the intersection of
two lines.
- Crossing Line Display
- Gap bridge/Arc bridge/Square bridge/Wavy
bridge
Select a bridge type to create bridges between routes every time
a route crosses another one.
By default, the
Gap bridge option is selected.
- Spacing Size
-
Defines the size of the bridge.
By default, the value is 2.
- Crossing Line Priority
-
Defines on which route the bridge display is applied.
- Horizontal gap priority: the bridge
display is applied on the vertical route.
- Vertical gap priority: the bridge
display is applied on the horizontal route.
By default, the
Horizontal gap priority option is
selected.
- Automatic crossing line detection: select this option to activate a
detection for crossing routes in a diagram view when:
- Creating a route.
- Manipulating an existing route (move, move segment, add segments,
move points, move extremities).
- Manipulating a port or symbol connected to an existing route.
- Changing the orientation of a route’s extremities.
- Merging or breaking a route.
- Inserting a symbol on an existing route.
- Connecting or disconnecting an existing route.
- Extending an existing route.
- Resetting the path of an existing route.
- Deleting a route.
- Continuing a route using the Manage On/Off Sheet
Symbols command.
Every time crossing routes are detected, bridges are created according
to the gap priority defined above.
Arrows on Lines
An arrow indicates the flow direction on a route.
- Arrows Frequency
- Select options to define, on a route, if the arrows are displayed
on all segments or on few segments.
- On the first segment: the arrow
appears on the first segment of the route.
- On the last segment: the arrow appears
on the last segment of the route.
- On the middle segment: the arrow
appears on the middle segment of the route.
- On all other segments: arrows appear
on every segment of the route.
By default, all the options are selected.
- Arrows Position on First and Last Segments
- Select one of the following options to define the position of the
arrow on the first and the last segment.
- In the middle: the arrow is positioned
in the middle of the segment.
- At the end according to the flow
direction: the arrow is positioned at the end of the segment.
- Arrow Type Options
- Select a type of arrow, and then select one of the following
options:
- Preferred type: the selected arrow
appears at the top of the list of arrows.
- Forced type: the selected arrow is the
only type available in the list of arrows.
Symbols Scale Value
Defines a value for the size of the symbol placed in view.
By default, the value is 1.
Manage Options in the Symbol Management Panel
Select one of the two options to hide or display the following options in the
Symbol Management dialog box:
- Edit Symbol
- Add Existing Symbol
- Add New Symbol
- Default Symbol
By default, the show check box is selected.
Show or Hide Connected Connection Points
Select one of the following options to define if the connected
connection points are displayed or hidden in the diagram view:
- Show connection points that are connected
- Hide connection points that are connected
By default, the
Show connection points that are connected option
is selected.
Place in View of Components
Select an option to define the connection mode when inserting
components in a diagram view or in the allocation view.
- Automatic connections: the connections are
displayed automatically.
- Connections on demand: only the selected
connections are displayed.
- No connections: the connections are not
displayed.
By default, the
No connections check box is selected.
Context Management
- Define the active object as mandatory context when inserting
reference
- Select this option to define the active object as the only
possible context for the insertion of new or existing references.
Note:
When this option is selected,
Insert New Reference and
Insert Existing Reference commands are
unavailable from the
context menu.
When cleared, the insertion of new or existing references from context menu and from catalog is possible in any context.
By default, the
Define the active object as mandatory context when inserting
reference option is selected.
2D Main View Activation
Select an option to manage the edition mode of 2D main view
when concurrently working on a same project.
- Yes: to activate the
Edition Mode of the 2D Main View and allow
modifications.
- No: to deactivate the
Edition Mode of the 2D Main View and prevent
any modification.
Global Update
Select the
Activation of view option
- To display automatically the
Global Update dialog box when activating a
diagram view.
- To update automatically an allocation view when double-clicking
it.
Allocation View - Display Route Implement Link
These options let you change the appearance of implement
links:
- Function and logical
instances: defines the color, the type of line and its thickness
for implement links between function and logical instances.
- Flow and type:
defines the color, the type of line and its thickness for implement links
between flows and system types.
- Parent functions and logical
instances: defines the color, the type of line and its thickness for implement links
between parent functions ans logical instances.
Superimposed Route
- Allow superimposed route
- Select this option to allow for the creation of superimposed
routes.
Automatic Space Assignment
Select these options to link automatically a space to a component
or a route.
- Components: creates automatically a link
between a space and a component.
By default, this option is cleared.
- Routes: creates automatically a link between
a space and a route.
By default, this option is cleared.
Components Selection and Ports Creation
Select these options to define if the components selection or the
ports creation is allowed during the routing process.
- Allow component selection during routing
process: the components can be selected when routing a route line.
By default, this option is selected.
- Allow new port creation on component during routing
process: allows new ports to be created when a component is
selected during the routing process.
Note:
if the previous option is cleared, this
option is also cleared.
Display of 2D Box Representations for Unloaded FL Instances
Select one of the following options to manage the display of 2D
box representations in the diagram view for function or logical
instances:
Display Sheet and View Frames
- Display the frames of the sheets at creation
- Select this option to display the frames of sheets when
creating new sheets.
By default, this option is selected.
- Display the frames of the views at creation
- Select this option to display the frames of diagram views when
creating new diagram views.
By default, this option is selected.
