The Drafting options let you customize the way you want to
generated drawings in Drafting.
Fixed Drawing Spot Size
Specifies a fixed 2D spot size in the
drafting view.
If Fixed Drawing Spot Size
is selected and a diameter is defined, all 2D spot symbols
will be generated in the drafting view according to the specified
diameter value, whatever their diameter in the 3D document. If the
size specified is equal to 0mm, the 2D drawing spots will not be
generated in the drafting view.
If Fixed Drawing Spot Size is cleared, all 2D spot symbols will be generated
according to their associated fastener's diameter.
If the fastener diameter is equal to 0mm, its associated 2D spot
symbol will not be generated in the drafting view.
By default, this option is not selected.
Angular Tolerance
Specifies the maximum angle between the spot normal vector and the drafting view
direction plane for the spot extraction:
If the
angle (Spot Normal, View Direction) is inferior to β, 2D spot fasteners will be
generated in the drafting view.
If the specified angular tolerance is equal to 0deg, the 2D drawing spot fasteners
will not be generated in the drafting view.
For example:
In
both cases, the 3D spot fasteners will be extracted in the drafting view.
By default, this option is set to 90deg.
Include View Reverse Direction
Allows you to visualize the 2D reverse spots in the generated drafting view.
If the angle (Spot Normal, View Direction) is inferior to β, 2D spot fasteners
will be generated in the drafting view.
Example:
In
both cases, the 3D spot fasteners will be extracted in the drafting view. On the
contrary, if the Include View Reverse Direction option is not
selected, the 3D spot fasteners will not be extracted (in both cases).
By default, this option is selected.
