Annotation

The annotation options let you customize annotation behavior at creation, extension line for geometrical tolerance, and 3D shape instances visibility at capture creation for 3D Tolerancing & Annotation.

This page discusses:

Annotation Creation

Allow to indicate annotation body position (CTRL toggles)
Defines whether the annotation is positioned according to the pointer, following it dynamically during the creation process or not.
If this check box is cleared, you can press Ctrl to position the annotation according to the pointer.

By default, this option is not selected.

Allow attachment points selection during positional link creation
Lets you select the attachment points of an annotation during the creation of an annotation or a positional link.

By default, this option is selected.

Geometrical Tolerance

Extension line length
Defines the extension line length between the geometrical frame and its leader.

By default, the length is 0 mm.

Geometry Connection Management

Automatically propose reconnection of broken links
Defines whether the automatic reconnection of broken links is launched when running the Geometry Connection Management command.

By default, this option is selected.

End command after last reconnection
Ends the automatic reconnection once the last broken link is reconnected.
Check automatically validity after last reconnection
Runs the Check Validity command once the last broken link is reconnected.
Give back control after last reconnection
Release control after the last reconnection.

By default, End command after last reconnection is selected.

Leader Associativity to the Geometry

Free
Defines the free associativity of the leader with the geometry.

By default, this option is selected.

Perpendicular
Defines the perpendicular associativity of the leader with the geometry.
