3D Wireframe Projection

The 3D Wireframe Projection dialog box allows you to configure the visualization options of projected 3D wireframe elements on generated views. To access the dialog box, click Configure for the Project 3D Wireframe option on the View tab.

Projected 3D wireframe

The Projected 3D wireframe contains the following options:

Can be hidden
Select Can be hiddden if you want 3D wireframe geometry to follow the standard removal of hidden lines.
Is always visible
Select Is always visible if you want 3D wireframe geometry to always be visible. In this case, it follows the standard removal of hidden lines.

By default, Can be hidden is selected.

Important: Whichever option you choose, linear elements are not projected as points when they are perpendicular to the projection plane, in section views and projection views. The section cut is a particular case: after the cut operation, it considers the wireframe as a series of points. To visualize them, select both the Project 3D wireframe and Project 3D points check boxes in the View tab.
