- Highlight Color
- Specifies the color for selected sets of input elements.
- Highlight Color 1 sets the color for the first set of input elements. For example target elements with OmniMatch
command, Highlight Color 2 the second set of input elements, for example source elements.

- Switches the selection possibility by shortcuts for the object selection filter.
- Automatic Target Selection
- Detects automatically the source object when selecting the target object with the OmniMatch
command. You can specify a maximum distance within which a source object can be found.

- Sets the priority in case of ambiguity when using Automatic Target Selection.
- If the selection can define either a Surface Edge – Surface-Edge
or a matching into the interior with Surface Edge – Surface/Face Interior
or Surface Edge – Curve Interior

matching type has priority.
- Selection Behavior
- Controls the behavior of selection tables which are activated when selecting surface elements lying on top of each other in the view plane.
- Depth
- Independent from shading, the selection table contains the element lying on the top and all underlying elements near to the top element, that is the elements are filtered according to their depth in the screen view.
- All till shaded
- The selection table contains all elements with wireframe display including the first shaded element, that is all elements lying under the first shaded element are not offered.
- All
- The selection table contains all elements independent from the display mode and the depth distance.
- Pick Through Wireframe
- If selected, surfaces in wireframe display mode are not selected when clicking into the inner surface area.
- Clicking a surface edge selects the edge.
- Selection Table Behavior
- Controls the behavior in the selection table to select overlapping entities.
- Auto
- The selection table always appears, independently from using the mouse or shortcut keys.
- On shortcut
- The selection table appears only when using the shortcut key I.
- Trap Selection Depth

- Selects only the visible elements including subelements. Trap Select Sub-Elements option is automatically selected.
- Full Depth
- Selects also occluded elements.
- Resolution
- Specifies the screen resolution in dpi (pixel/inch). You can use the CATIA system resolution or user-defined values in x- and y-direction with different or equal ratio.
