Human Design: General

The General options let you customize the default mode for postures application and the display of tips for Human Design.

Postures

Default mode for postures application
Defines the default mode for applying postures in the Edit Human panel.

The options appear as follows:

  • Apply to body

    Postures are applied to the whole body.

  • Apply to selected bones

    Postures are applied to selected bones.

By default, Apply to body is selected.

Skeleton view mode
Changes the skeleton appearance in the 3D area.

The options appear as follows:

  • Show all bones

    Shows the whole skeleton.

  • Show only IK cubes

    Shows only the cubes-shaped nodes of the skeleton.

  • Show highlighted bones

    Shows hovered bones.

By default, Show only IK cubes is selected.

Disable all tips
Hides all postures tips in the 3D area.

By default, this check box is cleared.

Show Look At tips
Shows or hides tips for managing the Look At mode.

By default, this check box is selected.

Show Inverse Kinematics tips
Shows or hides tips for manipulating the position and orientation of joints.

By default, this check box is selected.

Show Forward Kinematics tips
Shows or hides tips for manipulating the angle of joints.

By default, this check box is selected.

Show Preset Postures tips
Shows or hides tips for manipulating predefined postures.

By default, this check box is selected.

Show Constraints tips
Shows or hides tips for using constraints.

By default, this check box is selected.

Show Multiselection tips
Shows or hides tips for multiselecting bones.

By default, this check box is selected.

Show Reference Frame tips
Shows or hides tips for managing the human reference frame.

By default, this check box is selected.

Show Automatic Grab tips
Shows or hides tips for automatically grabbing objects.
