Layout Creation

Standard

Select the standard that is used when creating layouts.

By default, the ISO standard is selected.

Hide New Layout dialog box

Select this check box to hide the New Layout dialog box when creating a new layout.

By default, this check box is selected.

Default render style

Select a render style to apply by default to newly created layouts.

By default, Shading with edges is selected.

Layout Widget

Tile widget when activating Layout

Select this check box to tile the widgets containing the layout and 3D windows when activating the layout. When cleared, the widgets are created in the maximized state. This option is only for the layout and 3D window tiling. If the widgets of the other apps are manually placed in the same tab, these widgets are ignored for automatic specific placement.

When tiled, the 3D window is placed to the left of the layout window.

By default, this check box is cleared.

Fit sheet format only

Select this check box if you want Fit All In in the View toolbar to reframe the viewer to fit the sheet format (even if the sheet format is not displayed, and independently of the sheet content).

Clear this check box if you want Fit All In to reframe the viewer to fit all visible elements in the geometry area.

By default, this check box is selected.

Render Style On View

Allow modification of Rendering Style of the Layout viewer

Select this check box to enable the modification of the rendering style of the layout viewer, to ensure the rendering style defined on a view.

By default, this check box is cleared.

Dress-up Templates

• Frame
• Title block
• Revision table

Click to add a template to the list.

Click to remove a template from the list.

The administrator can lock these options.
