Display Preferences
- Show referent in 3D
- Displays the Referent in the work area. The Referent provides an indication of the size of objects.
By default, this check box is selected.
- Hide tree when entering environment
- Hides the tree in the work area.
By default, this check box is selected.
- Display out-of-context elements in ghost effect
- When working on 3D parts and products in the 3D design
view, displays parts that are not in the active structure as transparent
parts.
By default, this check box is selected.
- Show all tips and tricks
- Reinitialize tips and tricks if you turned them off in your session by
selecting the Don't show me this again check box.
-
By default, this check box is cleared.
Constraints and Groups
In the 3D shape world, select the option that defines how constraints and groups are
displayed in the 3D design view:
- Hide all the constraints and groups
- Hides all constraints and groups.
- Show the constraints and groups directly related to the selected
objects
- Visualizes constraints and groups based on selected objects.
- Show the network of constraints and groups for selected objects
- Visualizes the entire constraint and group system for selected objects.
Selecting this option shows the network of objects that may be impacted
if you move selected objects.
- Show all the constraints and groups
- Visualizes all constraints and groups.
By default, Show all the constraints and groups is
selected.
Drawing
Gives you access to combine commands (Add, Subtract, Intersect, and No Operation)
while you draw. Commands appear in the context toolbar.
- Display combine commands
- Displays combine commands.
- Fill automatically closed wire
- Automatically fills closed wires.
By default, this check box is selected.
Industrial Context for new Parts

- Industry
- Specifies the default industrial context of your part.
You can specify and
apply the industrial context to convert the geometry in your model. Each
context specifies the appropriate fillet radii, chamfer distances and
angles, and draft angles for the industries below. Choose depending on
the range. Refer to the Values table below for
range values.
Note:
Select Not specified to define
the default values on parts outside of the available
industries.

- Default fillet radius, according to industrial context
- Refer to the table above to set the industrial context's default
radius.
Move
Specifies the robot increment values for length and angle movement.
- Allow the temporary constraint relaxation
- The default setting is disabled.
- Robot Length increment value
- The minimum length increment value is 0.01 and the maximum value is 1000.The
default value is 5.0.
- Robot Angle increment value
- The minimum angle increment value is 0.01 and the maximum value is 360. The default value
is 5.
Note:
The increment values are independent from the specified units.
