Graphic Properties

You can customize graphic properties for borders, lines, fill, and text.

Border and lines

Border: Displays a border around the measure results.
By default, this check box is cleared.
Color: Sets the color of the lines used in the measure representations.
By default, the color is black.
Thickness: Sets the thickness of the lines used in the measure representations.
By default, the thickness is set to index 1 (that is, 0.13 mm).

Text

Color

Sets the text color.

Important:

The Properties command does not affect the text color for measure.

By default, the color is white.

Font

Sets the text font.

By default, arial.tff is selected.

Size

Sets the text size.

By default, the size is set to 3.5.

Fill

No Fill

Removes background color behind the measure result.

By default, this option is cleared.

Solid: Displays a background color behind the measure result.
By default, this option is selected.

Display ~ for approximate measurement

Displays a tilde character for approximated measures.

By default, this check box is cleared.

Measure result following the mouse

Displays the measure result attached with the mouse cursor until you click to place it.

By default, this check box is selected.

Measure only shown elements

Measures elements in the show space.

Important:

Swapping elements between the show and hide space does not modify existing measures.

You need to update existing measures to reflect these modifications.

By default, this check box is cleared.

Create Measures under the Measures node of the Part

Creates measure features under a dedicated node in the tree.

By default, this check box is selected.

Automatic update in product

Updates measures that have been created on products and that are no longer up-to-date when the geometry is modified or moved in a product context.

Important:

Only associative measures can be updated.
If you edit a representation, the measure is updated when you activate the product.

By default, this check box is cleared.
