Volume Computation: Generated Volume

Display Mode

Select one of the following options:

  • Smooth: generates a result with smooth edges.

    By default, it is selected.

  • Flat: generates a result with sharp edges.

Color

Default Color
Lets you select a default color for the results of the Volume Computation commands.
Use Part Color for Swept and Vibration volumes
Retains the part color on the generated results of the Swept Volume and Vibration Volume commands.

By default, this check box is cleared.

Use geometry color for Thickness and Offset volumes
Retains the colors of features on the generated results of the Thickness and Offset commands.
Notes:
  • If any color is applied to the parent of the selected parts or products, it is carried over to the generated result. The color applied to the highest parent of the selected parts or products is applied to the generated result.
  • If a feature under the selected part has different colors on different faces, only the color of one of its faces is taken into account. The color is applied to the result corresponding to this feature.
