Declared Data

The Declared Data options let you customize the weight margin, the center of gravity, and the weight declared on the synchronized EBOM part for Weight and Balance.

Declared data are products/parts for which you have set some values for weight manually. For these parts, there is no computation done as per the geometry of the part. The values you have entered are taken into consideration.

This page discusses:

Automatic margin applied [% of the weight]

This option is applicable for the declared weight products/parts. Automatic margin is Tolerance. So for every declared product/part, the automatic tolerance is 10% of the weight declared by the user.

For example, if you have a part, which has a declared weight of 10Kg. Then its Tolerance is 1kg.

Automatic CoG tolerance applied

The center of gravity tolerance is applicable to declared weight products/parts. Whatever the value of center of gravity is computed for product/part, its tolerance is computed as the value provided in the setting.

Take into account the weight declared on the synchronized EBOM part
You can select this setting to consider the declared EBOM parts as well for center of gravity consolidation and the center of gravity tolerance is computed as per the value mentioned in the above setting.
