Libraries

The Libraries options let you customize the location where to find the libraries documentation, additional 3DXML files for libraries, and finally where to find external licenses for the Dymola Behavior Modeling app.

Documentation´s location
To be able to select paths to the folders, you must first create the folders, with contents. By default, the documentation of the main Modelica libraries is provided in [CATIA install path]\resources\DBM_Libraries\Documentation\.

Each library documentation is provided as a .zip file. For each library, unzip the provided .zip file in the folder of your choice, for each library.

Important: Each library documentation must be installed in its own folder. Do not install several libraries documentation in the same folder.

Now you can specify the folders in which the documentation of the Modelica libraries are installed. You can click the icon to browse, and then select one or several folders containing the Modelica libraries documentation. A concatenation pane is available for selecting several folders at the same time.

By default, this text box is cleared.

Additional 3DXML´s location
This option lets you specify where the 3DXML files for libraries are located. If the needed code is not directly available when trying to apply a command from the action bar, for example when trying to load a library, the corresponding 3D XML file is searched for in the directory specified here. If this fails it is also searched for in the installation directory, typically [CATIA install path]\resources\DBM_Libraries\3DXMLData\.

If the file is found, a message appears. If you click OK the corresponding library is installed, as Reference, and the given command is performed.

By default, this text box is cleared.

External licenses´location
This option specifies a directory where external license files are located.
Note: Quotation marks " " are not used for the path in this preference.

By default, this text box is cleared.

For more information about the handling of external licenses, see Dymola Behavior Modeling User's Guide:Working with Behavior Libraries: Opening a Dymola Behavior Library.
