Point
- Sampling
-
Defines
the percentage of the points to be displayed.
By default,
Sampling
is set to 100%.
- Colored
-
When selected, displays the points in the
color contained in the Ascii RGB file. Otherwise, the display color is as
defined in the
Graphic
Properties menu. Applies to clouds of points that contain
color information for each point (e.g. imported from a Ascii RGB file).
By default,
Colored
is selected.
- Symbol
-
When selected, displays the points as the
symbols contained in the imported file. Otherwise, the display symbol is as
defined in the
Graphic
Properties menu.
Applies to clouds of points that contain
symbol information for each point. By default, Symbol is selected.
Scan (Polyline) or Grid- Segment
-
Displays scans or grids
as segments.
By default,
Segment is selected.
- Point
-
Displays scans or grids
as points.
By default,
Point is
not selected.
Vector- Vector
- Displays vectors as vectors.
By default,
Vector is selected.
- Origin
- Displays the vectors by their origin.
By default,
Origin is not selected.
Mesh
- Vertex
-
When selected,
displays the vertices of a mesh, for a lighter display.
By default,
Vertex is
not selected.
- Triangles
-
When selected,
displays the mesh as triangles.
By default,
Triangles
is not selected.
- Free Edges
-
When selected, displays the free edges in yellow.
Note:
The free edges displayed are those of the
complete cloud of points:
- If you activate only a portion of a cloud
of points, the free edges of that portion are not displayed.
- If you remove a portion of a cloud of
points, the free edges of the remaining portion are displayed.
By default, Free Edges is not selected.
- Non-manifold Edges
-
When selected, displays the non-manifold facets
and their vertices in bold white lines. If you choose the display of triangles,
the triangles accepting a non-manifold edge have their edges displayed as
regular white lines.
By default, Non-manifold Edges is not
selected.
- Flat or Smooth
-
The mesh can be
displayed as
Flat
or
Smooth
Note:
you cannot combine
Flat and
Smooth.
By default, Smooth is selected,
Flat is
not.
Light Visualization
- Activate light visualization of meshes
-
Select the
Activate light
visualization of meshes check box and set a
Number of
triangles. If the number of triangles contained in a mesh is
greater than the number you have defined, the light visualization mode is
activated.
Note:
- This mode applies only to a mesh
visualization.
- The light visualization mode improves
performance, but degrades the visualization quality.
By default,
Activate light
visualization of meshes is not selected.
Dynamic Display- Dynamic display of information
- When selected, activates the dynamic display of coordinates and
information, in the case of user-defined format.
By default,
Dynamic display of information is not selected.
Highlight Mode
- Bounding Box
- When selected, switches the highlight to the
bounding box of the clouds of points or meshes.
By default, Bounding Box is not selected.
Optimized Mode
- Optimized Mode
- The
Optimized mode is mandatory to see colors in
meshes and scans. Selecting the
Optimized
Mode option also improves performance when you use clouds of points
with colors, but to see color for clouds of points, you are not required to
turn on
Optimized
Mode.
By default, Optimized Mode is not selected.
Back and front mode
- Back and Front Mode
- The
Back and front mode is mandatory to see meshes
with a different color for the front and the back side. It requires that the
Shading with Material mode is on too.
By default, Back and front mode is not
selected.
