The General options let you customize properties for Imagine & Shape.

Update Propagation to Children

Update Propagation depth
Defines the level of children to be updated when working in manual update mode. Use the up and down arrows to define the propagation depth level.

By default, the depth level is specified to 0.

Attenuation

Attenuation
Defines the ratio between the mouse displacement and the actual displacement of the handle in the geometry. The smaller the coefficient, the more precise the mouse manipulation.

Click Attenuation and use the slider to define the attenuation coefficient. 0 is not allowed and 1 means no attenuation.

By default, this option is cleared.

Automatic Weight on Vertices

Automatic Weight On Vertices
Applies the maximum weight on vertices, provided they have a weight and there is at least three connecting edges.

By default, this option is selected.

Primitive Creation Center Mode

Select one of the following options:

View centered
This option lets you create the subdivision surface at the center of the screen.
Origin centered
This option lets you create the subdivision surface centered at the model origin.

By default, View centered is selected.

Primitive Creation Center Mode

Select one of the following options:

On most viewed plane
This option lets you create the base of the primitive on the most viewed plane.
On the floor (XY plane)
This option lets you create the base of the primitive on the XY plane.

By default, On most viewed plane is selected.

Warning Dialog Box

Display a warning when quitting a non-validated command
Displays a dialog box when you exit a command without applying the modifications by clicking Apply (Enter) .

By default, this option is selected.

Quick Switch

Launch the previous command when quitting the modification command
Automatically returns to the previous command when exiting the modification command, provided it has been launched from an active command, that is using the Space key or clicking Modification .

Shortcut Mono Key

Define shortcuts with one key only in tools palette
Uses one key-shortcuts in all commands available in the Tools Palette.

By default, this option is cleared.
