Accessing Preferences

Before starting your first working session, you can customize the preferences to suit your working habits. Your customized preferences are stored in permanent files: they will not be lost at the end of your session.

  1. From the top bar, select Me > Preferences, and then click the App Preferences tab.
  2. The preferences are organized in two tabs in the tree to the left:
    • Common Preferences gives access to a number of selected preferences that are the most used and the most important ones.
    • App Preferences gives access to all app preferences through an organization based on the quadrants of the Compass in which apps are sorted according to their domain.

    In the Common Preferences tab, preferences are organized in categories:

    • Select the category corresponding to the preferences to be customized.
    • Expand the appropriate area on the right side of the dialog box.

    In the App Preferences tab, preferences are organized in quadrants and solutions:

    • Expand a quadrant.
    • Expand a solution.
    • Select the category corresponding to the options to be customized.
    • Expand the appropriate area on the right side of the dialog box.
  3. Set these options in the tabs according to your needs.

    Tip: Use the following buttons at the top of the dialog box:
    • Expand All lets you expand all sections at once.
    • Collapse All lets you collapse al the expanded sections.

  4. Click OK to save your options.
