Commands

The Commands options let you customize commands for Product Structure Design.

Product Structure Commands

Replace By Duplicate
Displays the Duplicate and Replace command in the action bar and in the context menu.

By default, this option is cleared.

Replace By New Revision
Displays the Replace by New Revision command in the action bar and in the context menu.

By default, this option is cleared.

Insert Duplication of Existing Product
Displays the commands to instantiate a duplicate of existing products or representations in the action bar and in the context menu.

By default, this option is cleared.

Insert Existing Product

Unified Insert Existing Product Command
Select this option to let the Insert Existing Product command instantiate a product, 3D part, or fastener under a product. If this command is not selected, this command instantiates only products.

By default, this option is selected.

Separate "Insert Existing Product" and "Inserting an Existing 3D Part" commands
Select this option to use two separate commands, Insert Existing Product and Inserting an Existing 3D Part , to instantiate reference objects, product, 3D part, or fastener under a parent product or a reference depending on the selected object.

Wireframe and Axis Display Commands

Wireframe Axis Display
Displays the Wireframe and Axis Display commands in the action bar.
Note: When modifying this option, restart your session to take this change into account.

By default, this option is cleared.

Representation Lifecycle

Enable reuse of representation
Enables to link the representation lifecycle with the reference itself. When duplicating the representation reference, the representation itself is duplicated. If you clear this check box and duplicate a reference, you must manually duplicate its representation.
Important: This check box must be selected to activate the Make reusable Representation command.
Note: When modifying this option, restart your session to take this change into account.

By default, this check box is selected.

Position New Product Instances

Move to the Robot last position
Select this option to snap the product instance to the Robot position by default. If this option is cleared, or if the Robot position is not defined, the product is instantiated at origin.

By default, this check box is selected.
