Textual Instructions Creation

Set Time Mode on parent operation to "Work Instruction Time"
By default, cycle time for a work instruction keeps the parent operation's cycle time constant. The total number of work instructions for an operation equally share the time of the parent operation. The system automatically recalculates each work instruction's share when you add a new work instruction or delete an existing instruction, assuming the addition or deletion occurs within the Work Instructions app.

If selecting the Set Time Mode on Parent Operation to Work Instruction Time, whenever you create a work instruction, you define the parent operation's Time mode to Work Instruction. This enables you to specify a cycle time for an individual work instruction.

By default, this check box is cleared.
