Deliverables Page

A task can have deliverables such as bookmark URLs, controlled bookmarks, and bookmark folders. A deliverable can be an external document, any item already added to a project bookmark, or any item in the database, such as an ECR, Change Action, or part. Your system might be set up so that when the deliverable is promoted to Completed, the task is also promoted to Completed.

The steps for listing, adding, editing, and removing deliverables are the same as those for bookmark content and attachments to other items, such as risks.

You can add a deliverable to a task when the task is in the Draft, To Do, or In Work state. A Change Action (CA) can be added as a deliverable to a task as long as the CA is not canceled. The preferred states for a CA deliverable are "Prepare," "In Work," or "In Approval." Bookmark access is considered when adding a deliverable, which is contained in a bookmark, to a task: the containing bookmark must have the right access to enable adding the deliverable. For example, if the access on the bookmark is "Read Write," the content cannot be added as a task deliverable since "Read Write" does not give connect access. The access on the bookmark needs to be "Add" or "Add Remove" to be able to add the content as a task deliverable.

The Owner or Assignee of a task can add an EC (Engineering Change) as a task deliverable only if they are the Owner or an Assignee of the EC. For a change task, you can add a Defect as a deliverable.

An additional tab shows bookmark URLs for deliverables.
