Creating an Assessment

The project owner and people assigned Project Lead or Project Assessor access for a project can create an assessment for the project.


Before you begin: View the assessment page for the project. See Assessments Page.
  1. Click Actions > Create New Assessment .
  2. Enter details for these fields:

    Name. The assessment name. Click AutoName to automatically create the name.

    Title. The title of the assessment.

    Assessment Date. The assessment date. You can set this date as the originated date or to another date.

    Assessment Status. An overall assessment status. Select from the list menu: Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Assessment Summary. A brief summary of the assessment.

    Scope Status. The scope status. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Scope Summary. A brief summary of the scope assessment.

    Schedule Status. The assessment for the schedule. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Schedule Summary. A brief summary of the schedule.

    Cost Status. The assessment for the budget. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Cost Summary. A brief summary of the cost assessment.

    Quality Status. The quality assessment. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Quality Summary. A brief summary of the quality assessment.

    Resource Status. The assessment for resources. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Resource Summary. A brief summary of the resource assessment.

    Communication Status. The communication assessment. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Risk Status. The assessment for risks. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Risk Summary. A brief summary of the risk assessment.

    Procurement Status. The procurement assessment. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Procurement Summary. A brief summary of the procurement assessment.

    Stakeholders Status. The assessment for the stakeholders. Select Critical stabilized, Critical improving, Critical worsening, Moderate, Moderate improving, Moderate worsening, Good, Good improving, or Good worsening.

    Stakeholders Summary. A brief summary of the stakeholders assessment.

    Policy. Select a policy to govern the assessment's lifecycle. There may be only one listed.

  3. Click OK.
