Generating the Expense Report

You can generate an expense report and choose the time interval for viewing project costs.


Before you begin: The project budget must be frozen. See Working with the Project Budget.
  1. On the Budget page, click Expense Report .
  2. Select from these filters to view the report:

    Currency. The currency for the expenses.

    Interval. The year interval for budget expenses. For example, if 2 years is selected, the actual expenses for only 2 years will be shown. The filter values are decided using the duration of the budget. For example, if a budget’s duration is from year 2014 to year 2017, the filter will have three values: 1 Year, 2 Years, and 3 Years.

    Expense Report. The particular Interval type. For example, if Monthly Is selected, the actual expenses incurred in each month, during the budget interval period, will be displayed.

    Fiscal Year. This filter is activated only when the Display View is Fiscal. This is used to select the fiscal year for displaying expenses.

    Display View. The value TimeLine displays only those intervals that fall within the budget duration. The value Fiscal displays all the intervals that are part of the fiscal year selected in the Fiscal Year filter.
