Assign Operations to Resources by Dragging

In this step, you will assign operations to Manufacturing Cell and Worker resources by dragging. This defines where the operations are executed and who executes them.

  1. To define where the operations are executed, select all operations in General systems A, B, and C, and drag them to the first-level Manufacturing Cell in the tree.

    Tip: You can press Ctrl + Shift to select multiple operations.

  2. To define who executes the operations, press Shift and drag the operations in General system A on Worker 1 in the tree.
  3. In the same way, assign the first half of the General system B operations to Worker 2 and the second half, except the General operations, to Worker 3.
