Inserting an Existing Operation as Copy

You can insert a copy of an existing operation under a system using Existing Operation as Copy. This can be an operation from the current session or an already-saved operation. This prevents making unnecessary changes to the original operation.

Before you begin: Open your session content and start your app.

  1. From the Authoring section of the action bar, click Existing Operation as Copy .
  2. Select the position in the system structure of the tree where you want to insert the operations.

    The Applicative Search is activated in the top bar and a small panel appears.



  3. Select one or more operations as follows:
    • Type your search criteria in the Applicative Search box, click , then select the desired objects from the search results.
    • Select an object in the tree or work area.
    • Select the Multiselection check box, select several objects in the tree or work area, then click Accept .
    The selected operations are inserted in the tree. They are prefixed with the string CopyOf_.
