Assign Products by Drag and Drop

In this step, you will drag products in the tree from the product nodes to Manufacturing Assembly nodes.

  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, select B.I. Essentials , then from the list, select Product Assignment Status.
    The assignment status of the products is displayed by colored squares.

    Their status is Not assigned.

  2. Press Ctrl + click the three products under the sword assembly.
  3. Press Ctrl + Shift to drag them onto the Assembly L3a node.
  4. Multiselect all the products under the engine assembly.
  5. Drag them onto the Assembly L2a node.

The selected products are assigned to two different Manufacturing Assemblies and their status is now Assigned directly.
