Detail the System Structure

In this step, you will detail the system structure by dragging and dropping Manufacturing Assemblies on the systems.

  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click B.I. Essentials and select Items Assignment Status.
    The assignment status of the Manufacturing items is displayed by colored squares.

    Their status is Assignable.

  2. Drag Manufacturing Assembly L2a corresponding to the engine assembly and drop it onto the General System A.
  3. Drag Manufacturing Assembly L3b corresponding to the body assembly and drop it onto the General System B.
  4. Drag Manufacturing Assemblies L2b and L3a corresponding to the handle and sword assemblies and drop them onto the General System C.

Operations are created under the three child systems. The status of the Manufacturing items is now Assigned.

Each operation has an implement link to the corresponding Provided Part in the Manufacturing Assemblies.
