You can drag from the Manufactured Item Editor to the System Editor.

Drag of Source, Sink, Buffer, and Transfer Systems

You can create an operation that has links to a manufactured item. You can drag the manufactured item tile or tree node.

Create an operation with drag, the Define Operations dialog box appears to define the operation parameters.



For example:

  • Drag a Manufacturing Assembly from Manufactured Item Editor to a Sink system in the System Editor.
  • Two new Sink operations are created in Define Operations dialog box.
  • Press F5 to view the drag manufactured item changes.

Drag of General Systems and Transformation Systems

If you drag:

  • A Provided Part from the Manufactured Item Editor to the System Editor on General and Transformation Systems, you create a loading operation.
  • A Manufacturing Assembly from the Manufactured Item Editor to the System Editor on General and Transformation Systems, you create a General operation.

When you create an operation, the Define Operations dialog box appears to define the operation parameters.

Drag of Source, Sink, Buffer and Transfer Systems

Dragging an operation (3D object or corresponding text in the F5 list can either be a manufactured item name or an operation name) from an existing system tile results in the creation of an operation and links to the manufactured item by the dropped operation. When the new operation is created, the Define Operations dialog box appears to define the operation parameters.



For example:

  • You can drag buffer operation 1700362000.1 and buffer operation.1700362001.1 from Buffer System in the System Editor to the Transfer system in the System Editor.
  • Two new transfer operations (12.1 and 13.1) are created.
  • Press F5 to view the drag manufactured item changes.
