Defining Dimension of 3D Models
Calibrate 3D
allows you to define the dimension of the reconstructed 3D model.
Before you begin:
Reconstruct a 3D model from images.
In the 3D model, select a point, and then select an axe.
The axe appears only if the position of the model has been defined beforehand.
Select a second point.
The
Calibration
parameter appears:
If an axe was selected: The projected distance on the axe between the selected points
If no axe was selected: The distance between the selected points.
In the
Calibration Value
dialog box, you can change the distance.
Press
Enter
.
The new dimension is validated. The 3D model is scaled to fit the new dimension.
Note:
The
Calibration
parameter can be edited in the tree. If the calibration is displayed in the 3D model, it can be edited by double-clicking it.
