About Locking Camera Position

When a proper level of reconstruction is reached, locking the camera position allows you to complete the design with low impact regarding the existing reconstruction.

Tip: Minimizing the retroprojection errors is a good indicator for the quality reconstruction.

To lock a camera position of an image, click the lock icon .

For information, when locking the camera position, the points used to compute camera position are displayed as follows:

Note: It is recommended to not modify too much the position of the points.

All the points created after locking the camera postion, are created with a standard display.

An image can be locked only if its image status is green or orange. A minimum of two images is necessary.

Warning: Symmetries and calibration if the cameras are locked. You need to unlock the cameras to do it.
