Repositioning 3D Model

You can define the position of the reconstructed 3D model.

Before you begin: Reconstruct a 3D model from images.
  1. From the Reconstruction section of the action bar, click Position the 3D .
  2. On the reconstructed 3D model, select a point.
  3. Click one of the orthogonal axes and one of the following elements:
    • A point
    • A plane (symmetry plane or planar constraint)
The axe rotates along the alignment of the selected element.
  4. Repeat Step 2 with another axis.
  5. Optional: To align the position of the model along the reference axis, click Set as Origin in the validation panel.
  6. Click OK.

Note: If an axis has already been defined, it appears after Step1.

If Step 5 is not performed, the position of the model is not modified. Only the axis is repositioned.
