Defining Point of Views

For each image, you can define the object contour from the front point of view. A second image can also be defined as the side point of view of the object.


Before you begin: Display the image in the Image Board panel.
Important: This command is not available if the From a set of perspective views option from the Reconstruction Mode section is selected in Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Digitized Shape > Photo to Shape > General. For more information, see Native Apps Preferences Guide: General
  1. From the Reconstruction section of the action bar, click Front/Side Creation .

    Note: if no point of view is defined, the first selected image is identified as the front view.

  2. Click the contour of the front view image and press esc.
    The icon representing the front point of view appears in the image.

  3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the second image.
    The icon representing the side point of view appears in the image.

    Note: To change the point of view, click the other point of view icon.
  4. To remove the point of view information, click .
