Creating an Audit

You can create an audit to manage the audit process. You must have an Audit Lead or an Audit Administrator user role to perform this procedure.

  1. Choose one of the following options:
    • From the top toolbar, select > CAPA & Audit > Audit > Create Audit.
    • From the My Audits page toolbar, click Create Audit.
  2. Enter the appropriate information on the Create Audit page. Required fields are red.
    • Type - Select the type of object or its subtype. When you select the subtype, the custom attributes that are added to the selected subtype are listed in the Custom Attributes section of the page.

    • Audit Template - Use this field to select a template. A template allows you to replicate a standard audit structure, and the objects you frequently use with an audit. Use the to select an audit template from a list. If audit is created from audit template, other attributes in the Create Audit is automatically populated.
    • Description - Use this field to enter additional information about the audit.
    • Scope - Select the appropriate subsystem options to indicate the areas of focus for the audit. You can also add additional subsystems to the audit. Enter a new subsystem name in the text field, and then click Add.
    • Audit Type - Select the type of audit. The options are Customer, EASA, FAA, Internal Process, Internal System, Other, Registration, and Supplier.
    • Supplier's Name - Use the to select a supplier to be audited. You must select Supplier as the Audit Type to enable this field.
    • Owner - Click to search for and select a person as owner. By default, the user who creates an audit is the owner. You can reassign any audits you own to another user. Audit owners must have an Audit Lead or Audit Administrator user role.
      Note: The Search results list the owners that are created under the organization and added to the collaborative space, which the context user is used to create the audit and audit template.
    • Planned Start Date - This field shows the date the audit is expected to start. Use the to select a date.
    • Planned End Date - This field shows the date the audit is expected to end. Use the to select a date.
    • Is Re-audit - Indicates if this audit is being performed due to previous audit findings.
    • Re-audit Of - Use the to select the previous audit.
    • Audit Location - Use the to select an audit site.
    • Audit Items - The items to be audited.
    • Audit Format- The format in which the audit occurs.
    • Audit Objectives - The objectives of the audit.
    • Audited Organization- The organization which need to be audited.
  3. Click Done.
