Editing Curves and Fillets

Curve Edition edits curves on support, fictive edges, or fillets. All modifications are immediate and validated. The last action can be undone.

  1. To edit a curve, move the pointer near a curve.

    Tips:
    • Preselection applies to visible curves.
    • A small red circle indicates a preselected user pick point on the curve.
    • A small red dot indicates a preselected point on the curve.
    • Depending on the context, implicit selection may apply to several curves. Curves other than "on support" may not be detected.
    • Curves in a softer color are not editable.
    • To select a neighbor curve, move the pointer away from the current curve (until it is de-selected), then near the curve to select.

The curve is detected, selected, and highlighted. The current action applies to it.
  2. Drag and drop existing points as required to move them.
  3. Drag and drop a user point to any location on another curve.

Note: Free a constrained point to move it outside of its curve.

  4. Click the callout of a point to modify the continuity condition.
  5. Drag a tangency handle to modify its angle or tangent length.
  6. Pick a location to insert a new user point in the curve.
  7. To edit the median curve of a fillet, select the median curve.

Note: You can edit only the median curve of a fillet. Bounding and connecting curves are updated from the median curve edition.

  8. Edit its offset value.
  9. Continue edition as explained above.
