Modifying Cell Properties

You can modify properties of cells within reverse engineering data.

  1. Right-click data containing cells and select Properties.
    1. In the dialog box that appears, select the Cells tab.
  2. To better see how the cells of the data are divided, select colors for them and click Apply.
  3. Place the pointer in the preview window, and select one of the cells.
The dialog shows only the data for that cell.
  4. Set the cell properties as required.
    1. Change the color.
    2. Add a name.
    3. Select the Protected check box to protect the cell from deletion.
  5. Click Apply, then right-click any data in the preview window, and select Unselect cell.
The cell you have named appears within the context of all other cells.
  6. In the preview window, rotate the data so that you can find other cells.
  7. To erase the properties of one single cell (and keep all others unchanged), select No Color from the Color list of this cell.
Note: This erases the name of the cell too.

The properties are saved.

Notes:
  • You can undo all property changes by right-clicking on the data in the tree, selecting Object_Name object > Reset Properties.
  • You can access the Cells tab by right-clicking a cell in the work area and selecting Properties.
