Adding Keywords to a Catalog

This section describes how to add keywords to a catalog using the Design IP Classification app.

Before you begin: Create a catalog.
  1. Open your catalog.
  2. Right-click the catalog and select Chapter > Manage Keywords.
    The keyword editing commands appear:

  3. Click Add Keyword .
    The keyword editing section expands.
  4. Select the chapter to which you want to add keywords.
  5. In the keyword editing area, enter a name, select a type and click .

    The keyword name is added as an attribute to the selected chapter.

    Note: A blue dot indicates that the keyword attributes are inherited from the parent chapter.
  6. Repeat the previous step as required for other keywords.

Once you have created a catalog, you must follow these steps to be able to use it during the design process:

  1. Add components to the catalog.
  2. Assign the catalog to a resource table.
  3. Bind the resource table to your collaborative space.
