Electrical Raceway Design Capabilities
To benefit from the full capabilities of these apps you will need to spend some time setting up the system to suit the requirements of your projects, as described in this guide.
To set up the Electrical Raceway Design apps, you must configure various resources. These resources are mostly linked to customers and projects and are managed in the Data Setup app.
Depending on your requirements, configuring and maintaining resources using Data Setup can be simple or more complex:
- The simpler the configuration is, the more freedom the designers have and the easier it is to manage using Data Setup.
- The more complex the configuration is, the more it constrains the design process in accordance with predefined rules.
You must decide what is going to be a good balance between predefined design rules and designer freedom.
Note:
You can open these apps and use them "out-of-the-box", however, in this case, functionality and efficiency will be very limited.
