Routing with Alternate Paths

Orthogonal Routing lets you create a route between a start point and an end point by selecting a solution of routing from a set of paths. The different solutions of routing are contained in a cuboid.

Note: The Orthogonal Routing command is now available when the option Maintain Straight Route From Port in Me > Preferences> App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Electrical and Electronic Systems

  1. From the Orthogonal Routing panel, select the options of your choice.
A set of alternate paths appears.

  2. Move the pointer over the different paths.
The path you move the pointer over is highlighted.
  3. Click the path you want to apply between the two ends.

The route is created.
