Managing Directional Length

You can change the directional length of an existing route.


Before you begin: The Directional Length table must be set in Data Setup. For more information, see Directional Length table.
  1. From the Fluid Design section of the action bar, click Manage Directional Length .
  2. Select the route on which you want to change the directional length.
    The Directional Length Table dialog box appears. The table has the following columns:
    • Part/Port Name: name of the part or port and its directional points
    • Associated Route: name of the route containing the directional point
    • Directional Length: current directional length
    • Status:
      • blue: no matching entry has been found or the selected value is None or Select.
      • green: only one matching directional length has been found.
      • yellow: several matching directional lengths have been found. You need to select one.
      • red: no resource set has been found.
    • New Directional Length Reference: available new directional length
  3. Select a new directional length for each part or port and click OK.
    The selected value is applied on the active route. For more information, see Directional Point.
