Slide
Part lets you slide a part with two ports connected and aligned in the opposite
direction along a network.
In the Slide Part panel, select the context selection of your
choice:
Select point, line, or plane: lets you align the port of
the part to:
a point: the selected point is projected on the center line of the route and the
part is moved to this point.
a line: the shortest distance is retrieved between the selected line and the
center line of the route. The part is moved to the point on the route where the
distance is the shortest to the selected line.
a plane: the intersection point between the selected plane and the center line of
the route is retrieved and the part is moved to that intersection.
Select port of a part: lets you align the port of the part
to the port of your choice.
Click the part to move and drag it along the network.
A temporary representation of the part is created and the ruler appears to show the
distance of the part from the previous or the next part or node.
Click Commit to validate the new position of the part.
Note:
You can slide only parts with two ports connected and aligned in the opposite direction.
