Creating a Copy Pattern

You can copy an existing pattern with or without link.

Before you begin: You must either have a linear or curvilinear pattern created. For more information, see Creating a Linear Pattern or Creating a Curvilinear Pattern.
  1. From the Reinforcement section of the action bar, click Rebar Creation .
    The Rebar Creation dialog box appears.
  2. Select a Template, Wire selection, Strap or Mesh mode to initialize the pattern.
  3. Select your inputs.
  4. From the Pattern tab, click Copy Pattern .
    The Copy Pattern dialog box appears.
  5. Select a pattern to copy.
  6. Select an option among the list:
    OptionDescription
    Copy Only copies the selected pattern. The result pattern has no link with the source pattern.
    Copy with link Copies the selected pattern with a link.
    Copy parameters with link Creates different patterns with identical definition of the pattern parameters. This option is limited to copy of curvilinear and linear patterns.
    Tip: You can see all the features that share this pattern with a link in the Pattern tab.
  7. Click OK.
    The pattern is copied with or without link.
    Note: If you delete a pattern, only the current pattern will be deleted. Other patterns having a link with it will not be deleted.
