For concrete structure engineers and civil engineers, Concrete Structures 3D Design provides the following key capabilities:

  • Create rebars from a catalog of predefined rebar profiles from the following categories:
    • Fixed: When the shape is defined by fixed dimension values across the layer.
    • Adaptive from limiting planes: When the shape follows planar surfaces until limiting planes adapted for prismatic shapes.
    • Adaptive that follows surfaces: when the shape follows surfaces until its boundaries. Adapted for freeform shapes.
    • Isopar: Freeform to design curved bars following isoparametric curves of the surface.
  • Create rebars around existing bars.
  • Create rebars on the fly.
  • Create rebars from an existing curve.
  • Flexible design and layout
    • Bar positioning with the robot
    • Linear and curvilinear patterns
    • Open architecture to any rebar shape type
    • Based on User Defined Feature and Component- based design (Object Type)
    • 3D Tag with annotation
  • Run an interference analysis to detect clashes with the other elements local to a rebar layer or with other rebar layers (global).
  • Catalog of bars provided with a default configuration table containing predefined values for bending radius, hooks…Can be overloaded and specified for each type of bar.
  • Produce the bill of quantities in a document that is shared in Platform.
