XLSX Output Format

An XLSX output format is based on the .xlsx format (available for Excel 2007 and upper versions). Similarly, the .xlsm format is supported for output formats.

Output Format Styles Correspondence

A report file generated in .xlsx contains the following associated tags:

Template Structures Corresponding styles in the generated report file
Section X

The section title is formatted using sectX Excel style. X corresponds to the level number.

A row is left blank at the end of a section.
Paragraph para Excel style contained in the first column cell.
Table Column Title tableTitle Excel style cell of each column.
Table Cell entry Excel style cell.

Styles Definition

To properly display template structure elements and elements with customized styles in generated report files, you must define the corresponding styles in the .xlsx output formats.

Tips:
  • To define a style for cells, you can use the New Cell Style option of Excel.
  • To define a table style, you can use the New Table Style option of Excel.
