Checking the Quality of Requirements

If it has been enabled, you can use the requirement quality analyzer tool to manage the quality of your requirements as you work with them in the Requirements Specification Editor.

Before you begin: A requirement specification with at least one requirement must be opened in the Requirements Specification Editor.
  1. Select the requirement whose quality you want to analyze.
  2. From the Edit menu, click Check Requirement Quality .
The requirement quality analyzer tool pane opens on the right side of the page. If this is the first time that you have opened the tool during this ENOVIA web browser session, a license for The REUSE Company Systems Engineering Suite (TRC SES) server is consumed. You use this license for all checking activity in the requirement quality analyzer tool during this ENOVIA web browser session.
  3. Use the requirement quality analyzer tool to identify and correct any quality issues in your requirement. For more information, see the user documentation from The REUSE Company.
  4. To close the requirement analyzer tool, do one of the following:
    • Click to close the pane.
    • From the Edit menu, click Check Requirement Quality.
Your license for the TRC SES server is released when you log out of the ENOVIA web browser session or when the ENOVIA/TRC SES server session expires.
