Administration: Enabling the Ability to Work Under a Change Action

A Business Administrator can enable the users to work under a change action in the Requirements Specification Editor and the Requirements Structure Editor.

  1. Open the Collaborative Spaces Configuration Center widget. For more information, see Widgets to Configure Content and Business Rules.
  2. In the left pane, select Requirements Configuration.
  3. To enable the ability for users to work under a change action, select the Enable Authoring Context checkbox.
    A green check mark appears next to the field to indicate that your selection is saved.

    The Requirement Structure editor is integrated with Change Action (CA). When you apply effectivity in CA, it will be enabled using Work Under dialog box. If configuration context of requirement object exactly matches with the set effectivity, only then effectivity will be added to the object being created.
