Cloning Information Page

The Cloning Information page shows a structured view of all of the objects (requirements or specifications) cloned from this object or the object from which this object was cloned. If there are no cloned objects, the page lists the information that will be cloned with this object when it is copied.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, or Leader

To access the Cloning Information page, from a requirement page or a specification page, in the navigation pane select Related Objects > Cloning Information.

Columns

Column Name Description
Object NameThe name of the object that this object was cloned to or from which this object was cloned. This can be an autoname. Click to open the object in a new browser window.
TitleThe object's short descriptive title. This title is used in all lists in which the object appears.
Link StatusThe allocation link status when sub requirements or downstream requirements are connected to the requirement.
Object TypeThe type of object.
StateThe current lifecycle state of the object.
OwnerThe person who owns the object.
DescriptionThe detailed description of the object.

Contextual Menu for Chapters and Comments

Right-click on any chapter or comment in the list to access the available contextual commands.

  • Baseline: Leader (when the object is in the Frozen state) or Author

Action Description
Expand All Expands all of the objects under the selected object.
Collapse All Collapses all of the objects under the selected object.
Select Direct Children Selects all of the direct children objects of the object.
Unselect Direct Children Unselects the direct children objects of the object.
Select All Descendants Selects all descendant objects (children and their children) of the object.
Unselect All Descendants Unselects all descendant objects (children and their children) of the object.
Properties Shows the property attributes of the object.
Lifecycle Shows the Lifecycle, Tasks/Signatures, and Approvals tabs of the specification in a new window.
Add to Collection > Add to Clipboard Adds the selected specification to your clipboard.
Add to Collection > New/Add to Collections Adds the selected specification to a new or existing collection.
