Satisfied By Page

A requirement can be satisfied by one or more features. These features are listed on the requirement's Satisfied By page, which also has options for managing those features.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, or Leader

To access this page, on a requirement page, select Related Objects > Satisfied By.

Columns

Column Description
Name The name of the feature that satisfies the requirement. This can be an Autoname. Click the name to open the feature in a new browser window.
(Image) The thumbnail of the image (if any) associated with the feature.
(Engineering Change) indicates that an active engineering change exists for the feature.
(Revision) indicates that there is a higher revision of the feature.
Type The type of feature:
  • Logical Feature
  • Manufacturing Feature
Description The detailed description of the feature.
State The current lifecycle state of the feature.
Owner The owner of the feature.
(Attachment) indicates that there is one or more files associated with the feature. Click to open the list of files in a new browser window.

Add Existing Adds an existing feature that satisfies the requirement. Adding Features that Satisfy a Requirement
Detach From Structure Removes the selected features from the requirement structure, but does not delete them from the database. Select OK to confirm. -

Contextual Menu for Features

Right-click on any feature in the list to access the available contextual commands.

Action Description
Properties Opens the feature's Properties page in a new browser window.
Lifecycle Opens a page with the Lifecycle, Tasks/Signatures, and Approvals tabs of the feature in a new window.
Add to Collection > Add to Clipboard Adds the requirement to your clipboard.
Add to Collection > New/Add to Collections Adds the requirement to a new or existing collection.
Files Allows you to download files directly associated with the feature.
Related Files Allows you to download files related to the feature, such as reference documents.
All File Details Opens the feature's Files page in a new browser window, where you can work with all files associated with the feature.
