Opening a Use Case

You can view the information related to a use case.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, or Leader

  1. View a requirement.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Related Objects > Use Cases.
  3. Select the use case name.
  4. Click Categories .

    Category Name Category Tabs Description
    Use case name Properties Lists the properties of the use case.
    Customer Extensions Lists the customer extensions associated with the use case.
    Sharing - Lists who the use case is shared with and what privilieges they have.
    Change Management Change Order Shows the change orders associated with the use case.
    Change Request Shows the change requests associated with the use case.
    Change Legacy Shows the legacy change objects associated with the use case.
    Engineering Changes - Lists all the engineering changes connected to the use case.
    History - Shows a log of events that have occurred.
    Issues - Lists the issues connected to the use case.
    Lifecycle Lifecycle Shows the Lifecycle of the use case.
    Tasks/Signatures Shows the Tasks/Signatures associated with the use case.
    Approvals Shows the Approvals associated with the use case.
    Reference Documents -

    Lists the reference documents associated with the use case.

    Routes -

    Lists all routes associated with the use case.

    Sub Use Cases -

    Lists the sub use cases of the selected use case.

    Test Cases - Lists the test cases for the use case.
    Where Used - Lists all other objects that use the use case.
    Revisions - Lists the revisions of the use case.
