Environment Definition
The environment parameters help you define the name, dimensions, position, and textures of an environment.
To access the Environment definition dialog box, do one of the following:
- In the tree, right-click an environment and then select .
- In the tree, double-click an environment.
You can edit the environment parameters in different ways:
Action | Result |
---|---|
Using arrows | Edits the values of data, such as length or width. |
Using sliders | Edits the values of data, such as length or width. |
Typing values | Directly enters values. |
Clicking a precise wall | Applies a texture on the selected wall. |
Clicking

Resets the values. |
Tip:
To disable the bottom face of a spherical environment, select One Face. |
Texture Definition
To preview the wall images and change their positions, the following options are available:
Options | Result |
---|---|
Image | Applies the image to the selected wall texture. |
Scale U and Scale V | Determines how the texture is stretched along the U and V axes. |
Position U and Position V | Determine the position of the texture along the U and V axes. By default, the image is centered. |
Orientation | Defines the rotation of the texture on the surfaces. |
- To enable these options, click
to choose an image for the texture of the wall.
- Click
to resize U and V proportionally. This option is useful for square shapes, such as floor material.
Other Options
Other options are available:
