About the OnePart Connector for SOLIDWORKS PDM

The NETVIBES OnePart Connector for SOLIDWORKS PDM is packaged as zip file containing:

  • EPDMConnector-version.zip, the connector plugin containing the Connector and Security Source
  • EPDMServicePackage-version.zip, the Connector WebService package

Prerequisites

This connector plugin requires a license and the WebService package installation available on your software DVD. Internal users may obtain it from the connector package on https://airbridge.exalead.com.

Before starting you need to know:

  • the name or address of a machine with the SOLIDWORKS PDM client installed

  • your SOLIDWORKS PDM Vault name and corresponding database name if different

  • your OnePart credentials to connect to SOLIDWORKS PDM (username and password)

  • the server name or address and corresponding SQL user name and password

Workflow

The required steps for installing the connector are as follows.

The workflow to install the connector for OnePart is detailed below. We highly recommend that you use the OnePart Console to create your sources. OnePart automatically configures the security and Consolidation Server requirements. If necessary, you can configure the advanced options in the Administration Console.
