3D Viewer is not working

There are several reasons why the 3D Viewer may not work in the Preview page.

This page discusses:

If no 3D button displays

Only parts are supported in the 3D Viewer.

  • Make sure that the part was converted by OnePart; check the value of the attribute "conversion_status" for those parts in the Preview page.

If a Grayed-out 3D button displays

If a grayed-out button displays , this indicates that WebGL is not fully supported by the browser.

  • The 3D Viewer requires WebGL. You can test to see if your browser supports WebGL on the their site . See the Browser recommendations.

  • If you can see the WebGL demo but you still have the grayed-out button for the 3D player. Please use the support link in the WebGL site to see specific solutions for your browser (For example, upgrade your graphics drivers).

If no 3D image displays after loading

If nothing displays after the 3D Viewer finishes loading then see below.

  • OnePart was not able to retrieve the file. OnePart uses the fetch connector to get the part’s CGR from the data source connector.

  • You can check the process logs in the Administration Console:

    • searchserver

    • connectors

    • convert
