General:The Abaqus/Explicit model consists of three deformable bodies that are in contact with a rigid surface. Two different methods are used to define initial clearance values: specifying the clearance value or specifying secondary nodes and their corresponding initial clearance values on data lines that either follow the keyword line or are read from an input file. A two-dimensional model is considered with the deformable bodies modeled using CPE4R elements and the rigid body modeled using rigid elements, R2D2.
