Deactivate and Activate

You can deactivate and activate mates, constraints, and many objects in the tree. The deactivate option is available in many of the context toolbars. You can activate an item only if it has been deactivated.

Deactivate Mates

You can deactivate mated components to freely move them around.

  1. In the Design Manager tree, under Mate, right-click the mate that you want to deactivate.
  2. From the context toolbar, click Deactivate . For more information, see Context Toolbars.
    The mate is deactivated and appears as strikethrough in the tree.

Activate Mates

You can activate previously deactivated mates.

  1. In the Design Manager tree, under Mate, right-click the mate that you want to activate.
  2. From the context toolbar, click Activate . For more information, see Context Toolbars.
    The mate is activated and appears in the tree.
